i'm thinking the same thing...... only it's for bass and crappie!!!! :DOriginally Posted by fowlguy
When I take the minn kota and fish finder off the bow, pull out the 200 lbs of batteries under my bench seat, and put in the anchor ropes, anchor and ball, make sure the yami T8 is oiled and get ready for real fish season! Salmon and sturgeon, I am counting it down!
With the high flows this year it has made the crappie fishing on the snake tough! A couple of my fellow co-workers live to fish for crappies and even they are discouraged. With water temps nearing 80 the crappie will be deep and wont be shallow again until Oct when everyone forgets about them!

lookin forward to a report, hope its not too hot to fish over there
It seems to be the time of year that I break things and have to fix/replace them. I've done a new livewell pump and had to tear apart the trolling motor so far. I am hopeful that will be it for this summer and I can spend the rest of my time fishing instead of fixing...
