    Default Having trouble getting started

OK, I installed my HB 998c si and have only been able to get out one time to play around with it and store some waypoints on Melvern, where I am heading early tomorrow for a three day crappie trip. I just tried to download my waypoints onto a SD card so I can put them on Humminbird PC and can't figure out how to do it. It seems simple, just go to Nav, scroll down to Download and pick yes. But when I scroll down under the Nav tab there is not a tab for Download or Delete like they show in the video. Is there a different way to do it now? Any help is appreciated.

The "Export Nav data" has been moved in the newer software versions...

    Try this....

Under the “Nav” menu tab in the main tabbed menu system....
Scroll down to the “Waypoints, Routes, Tracks” menu by using the Down Arrow...
Open this menu by using the Right Arrow...
Scroll up to the “Options” submenu by using the Up Arrow...
Open this menu by using the Right Arrow button...
Select the “Select All and…” menu by using the Down Arrow...
Use the Down Arrow to select the “Export” option...
Use the Right Arrow to select “Yes” to answer the question shown on the unit display...

    Also (just for info purposes)...

Waypoints can be created on the map while not even on the water....maybe sitting in the garage...

    Open any map view...
Zoom out to encompass the area desired to investigate...
Use the 4way cursor to move the crosshair icon to the area of interest...
Zoom in to the desired level..
Using the 4way cursor...manipulate the crosshair icon over humps, underwater points, or other interesting topographical features...
Press the "Mark" button to place a waypoint...
...(pressing "Exit" will return the boat icon to it's original location before it was moved the first time)

Thanks, Rickie, that did it. I had been a ways down that path before but didn't go far enough. I hope to know a lot more about this thing after the next three days.

I kinda thought the "Export All Nav Data" was fine where it was..

I'm not really sure why HB changed this....

I don't recall reading any posts in any forum from users wanting this change...

We will get used to it...after a few times...
