    Default ipad or iphone apps

Hey everyone I am looking for a good GPS Freshwater fishing app that I can use to mark good fishing locations. Maybe put in water temp, bait, what I caught etc. It would also be nice to be able to look at a map of the lake and see some contours etc. I would like to do this on my ipad if possible.

Is anyone using an app like this and if so can you tell me what the name is. I have done some searching but most apps look to revolve around salt water fishing instead of freshwater lakes

    Thanks

    T

X3. Hard to beat navionics. You will need another app to log conditions, water temp, time of year etc. though.

Thanks I have read some good reviews about this one online and I may very well end up with it but they want $50 for the ipad version and I was hoping to not spend that much. Especially for my first app and not knowing if I will use it all the time.

I understand that. I dont really know of any other apps that would fit your needs off hand but i will do some research and if i come up with anything i'll shoot you a pm. i have the navionics card for my 998. i think they have a 10 dollar app for iphone if you have one of those. that would be a cheaper alternative to see if its something you would like and you may be able to run it on your ipad although it wouldnt be optimized for the ipad. but i run iphone apps on my ipad all the time.

I judt downloaded the advisor app referenced above and will give it a try.
The Cabelas app may be worth looking at.
