I have had no problems with Southern Pro, but like Bobby Garland as well. Loves me some Roadrunners to go with em!

I just started carrying Slab Bandits because they are new and really have gained popularity in a big way. I have not even fished them yet personally, but lots of guys I know like them and tell me they are tougher than other soft plastics they have used. I do know lots of guys here in Texas are catching lots of crappie with them. I also like Bobby Garland soft plastics, but I mostly use my hand tied jigs and don't have to replace them since they have to just wear out or loose them to getingt hung up.

I have always been partial to Midsouth tackle "SuperJigs". Usual colors...anything with chartreuse.

I like my own that I make. Perhaps you should take a look at a few threads on DIY Plastics forum and learn how to make your own. I was afraid at first but if you observe the safety practices for dealing with hot scalding liquid plastic then it is not bad at all to do. Welcome from Alabama. Southern Pro and Bobby Garland are good for in store plastics.

Keith does really great work on his plastics. I can't count how many I've used his plastics and not only hooked fish, but hooked other anglers as well. They like the design, the detail and ask where i got them from. That's why I've ordered a kit from Keith to go along with plastics that i have. But there are other plastic makers out there as well, it really depends on what you want the plastic to imitate.
