Where do you fish for crappie up that way? My family and I were stationed at Joint base lewis mcchord and we love it up there, we may get stationed up there again soon! I can hope. Trout fishing is good in the Nisqually river!! It sure is beautiful up there.

There are a lot of lakes up here with Crappie.
Lake Kapowsin, Silver lake, Ohop lake, and many more just a short drive from JBLM.

Thanks. Maybe when I get back the army will send me up that way for the third time! My wife and love it up there and wanna retire closer to the mountains! The only bad thing is with my now 8 month old son he needs to be closer to his grandparents in Oklahoma. We shall see. I will try those lakes if I get back that way.

Bowtie, which lake is the best for shore fishing since I dont own a boat? I am hoping to go back that way again. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

    Sooners08,
Of the lakes mentioned above, I think Kapowsin probably has the most areas to fish from shore.
You're always welcome in my boat.
