FCC 16th tournament of 2012 results

Lochloosa,Fl

Weather conditions started out pretty
good Saturday morning. Winds picked
up to almost gail force as day progressed
14 - 18 mph out of east north east,gusting
to 22 mph.

16 entries took on the event, with almost
a 100% spider riggin group, working the
5 - 6 1/2 ft water. Most teams threw
chain to compensate for wave and wind
action.

(2) Two positions paid or "big fish"

1st: Team Sam Adams/Russell Cheetham
1 lb. 13.0 oz

2nd: Team Harold Smith/Joe White
1 lb. 12.0 oz

(3) Three positions paid for "7 fish total catch weight"

1st: Team Sam Adams/Russell Cheetham
9 lbs. 13.0 oz

2nd: Team Darryl & Terri Cole
9 lbs. 9.0 oz

3rd: Team Danny & Beth Williamson
9 lbs. 3.0 oz

1st place team fished with Wally Marshall
rods, using Ron's zip jigs, orange & hot pink main colors - blue secondary

2 & 3rd place teams fished with Deep-
South rods, using Skipper Jigs (pink,
butterscotch and cream white with red
collar) along with Pink "Just Jiggin" ice
jigs.
All three winning teams spider rigged with tipped minnows, using drop weights of 1/2 - 3/4 oz. bullet style.

Next tournament will be West Lake Toho,
Richardson's Fish Camp off Pine Island Rd
Kissimmee, Fl. Sat. October 27th..
Should be pretty good event with a
lot of North & South teams going for
same fish............
