That is a good catch Trey. Keep up the good work. Welcome from Alabama.
Found this site last week and have already picked up a trick or to.
Got up this morning and saw a cold front hanging just to the north with a little rain and low winds and new this would be a good morning to fish.
Loaded the boat and headed to the lake.
Fished with tube jigs with an 1/8th head. Hot pink with white legs took 75% of the fish with the rest coming from a chartreuse silver flake. Jig heads where chartreuse.
Fish came from 10-14 ft of water at about 8 feet. Big fella at the bottom is about 1.5 pounds.
Caught about 25 or so and kept 13. Fished from 7-12 and left them biting.
would have stayed all day but had to pick my boy up from school.
Looking forward to participating in the forum.
