    Default Couple new jig ties

Went crappie fishing with a buddy on seneca river (NY) he was using a white roadrunner with a white curly tail. I tied couple jigs with spinners before we went and did just as good we got some nice crappie and gills. What do ya think?Name: 100_6887.jpg

The top one should get you a mess of fish. Well done.

Excellent! Was the swivel tied onto the collar of the jig or was it molded in? Just curious.

Nice looking jig!!! Looks like it's tied in, but there's been some posts here on the board where molds have been modified to have it molded in.

I tried it and they do work - although I tie mine in midway on the shank

Having it halfway back on the jig will change the action a little of the trailer or body. EB

I tied it in, i just hung it on the hook then did my usual thread wrap then wound thread on both sides of swivel, pulled it up vertical and a few more wraps
to keep it there then just continued with jig, then after all finished, added the split ring and blade.
thanks to all for looking and for the kind comments.

I liked them both but especially liked the top one. Should be a confidence bait cause I just know it will catch fish every time out.
