I keep getting http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/page when I click the back arrow. Is there any way to stop getting it.

I think doubleclick.net is a known tracking cookie...

I run Spybot Search and Destroy once a week and it finds it every time..so I allow SB S&D to delete it...every time..

You can block it in the host file somehow...to keep your browser from directing to there...

I run Firefox and don't have that problem. When I clicked on your double click link Firefox prevented that site from even coming up. I'm not sure which Firefox addon is preventing this but I sure like Firefox.

I tried to change the host file but did not have authority to make changes.

Try googling "can't edit Hosts File"..

Could be Vista locking the host file...
Could be Spybot Search and Destroy...
    Could be AdAware ...

Several different security applications lock the hosts file because its such an easy target for malware or tracking redirection possibilities...
