Dinks count too.
Just curious about the catches with the "Watermelon Wine" Bobby Garland Baby Shad and would like to see photos of your catches.
I've seen some and appreciate your posting them for all to see. It would also be great if you posted photos of catches with the
"Tuxedo Shimmer" here too. Thanks and good luck to all.

Trip Report, Indian Creek, Lake Wheeler
I’ve been out of town for a week and haven’t dipped a line in two weeks so I had to get on the water today. I decided to try Indian Creek and had hoped to find some areas out of the wind. Not much luck on the “out of the wind” idea with 20MPH from the North and gust to 25MPH. As usual the Crappie were hitting well with the wind blowing. The water was very clear and you could see two to three feet down. I knew that I needed a bait that was more subtle in color and I tried the new Bobby Garland, Watermelon Wine
that Retired RR sent me on 1/16 oz jig heads. It worked very well, I caught 100 plus and kept a limit. The Crappie were a little deeper than I expected with the wind, all were caught in 8 to 10 feet of water on heavy timber lay downs. The fish were positioned behind the larger limbs and tree trunks using them as a current break. Made for some fun and easy fishing except trying to control my kayak with the wind. I fished from 9:30AM till around 3:00PM. It was nice to see that the Crappie had moved of the main channel and were up in the creeks fatting up before winter. Next two to three weeks should be some easy fishing!
Awesome report and thanks. I knew in the hands of a crappie fisherman, they would catch fish.......and I appreciate everyone's contributions
to this thread. Going Tuesday to meet up with a member and give 'em a chance to put a limit in the cooler. Thanks again Ditch Basser.
