Question Need help with old sayings

Some of you old timers like me, that havn't lost the memory like me, might be able to recall the proper words for the old saying about the wind direction. "If the wind is out of the South it blows the bait to fishes mouth", "If the wind is out of the East you will catch the least" ect: I sure wish I could find the correct "OLD" saying:o Does anyone remember ANY version of this, I'm sure there are many and one might be the version that I have heard. Thanks for any help. Ferdi The fishing is REAL HOT here on Big Sam, I'm fried. I even manage to catch a couple fish now and then.:D

I'm not to old of an old timer but the only one that I have heard is "if the wind is out of the east fish bite the least. If the wind is out of the west the fish bite the best.

And "If the wind is out of the south blows the bait in their mouth"
"If the wind is out of the north , fishermen go forth".

I don't know the whole thing either Ferdi. It might be on here, if you want to look. www.quotationnation.com If it's not, it's still a pretty interesting site...izzy

Don't forget, the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. Yea, I know, out of context but I couldn't help myself.
