Default Slow day on Logan Martin

Took my dad and my son fishing on Logan Martin Saturday morning. Got on the water about 7:30. Pulled up to my first spot and bam. Four fish in the first ten minutes . Of the four. One was a keeper. Then nothing. Fished for two hours or more on the piers and moved out on a point with a tree top. Caught 4 or 5 small crappie. Finised the day on a deep pier about a half mile from where I had been all day. Deeper water. Caught fish on my first 3 cast. One was a slab. Then same thing. Nothing. I caught almost all of my fish on minnows. Had 4 keepers all day. I really thought we would do better after how well last weekend went. We still had a good time but I really wanted to see my dad get into them good. Just wondering if anyone else had a hard time finding and staying on them?

I feel your pain. I've been trying to land a keeper for a few weeks. I feel like I have better luck when it's colder though.
