Default Perfect day to "end" the season.

Might very well be the last time I get to fish until after the holidays.

Launched about 9am, went up past power lines, fished 4' to 12'. Kept nine nice fish for Zak to take home for dinner after teaching him how to clean them with the electric at the marina. Small blue cat were everywhere, hit like a run away train, but not big enough to go through the trouble cleaning. Didn't really get em figured out, slow day, but all worth it. Good conversations, laughs, and time spent with a good friend.

Glad you got into some fish to end your season. Camp coming up in a couple weeks if you can make time to come down.

Thanks, guys. Will try to make it down for camp, but that's all I can put on the line... "TRY".

    1. That is the weekend AEP starts.
    2. That is the weekend of the wife's birthday.

Do you have to be a boat slip renter to use fish cleaners at Bucksaw and Long Shoal?

Not at Bucksaw. They just want you to enjoy your trip and come back.Good bunch of folks there.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

If we are going to use the ramp and facilities/cleaning station/bathroom, etc. we are going to drop some money in the register for beer/food/ice/fuel, etc. That is a great facility made better by the people they have working there...

    Couldn't agree more.
