    Default Portsmouth Island

Just back Portsmouth Island. No cable, no electricity, spotty cell coverage and 26 miles of unspoiled beach. The wind was not our friend (25-30) most of the week. Caught lots of under sized Puppy Drum (15-17 1/2 inches), a few over slot, and a few in the slot. Grey Trout were easy to limit out on (1 per day!),lots of small Flounder (no keepers), Blues, a few Spot, Sea Mullet, Nice Pompano, and even a Remora. Name: Tag Team Puppy Drum Cropped.jpg

There were millions of finger Mullet running in the surf and sound, bait was easy to catch. Glup was also working good for the flounder and Puppies.

All in all a good trip with a great group of friends. Back to the South Brunswick Islands for a while (Cable, air, heat, electricity).

Sounds like you had a good time.

I'm at Hatteras now and the wind wasn't friendly yesterday and looking mean today too.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Nice report! Buddy of mine is in Frisco now limiting out on just about everything in the sound. He said there are tons and tons of small 15 inch drum. They've been having a field day on light tackle.
