    Default LOZ yesterday

Tough day on LOZ as well. Put in at Gravois access about noon and fished till 5:00PM. I really went down to try my hand at trolling. I have a couple of old Penn 109's that I used years ago trolling for strippers. I spooled them up with some new 50# braid and off I went. Dang braid kept getting caught up between the spool and the frame and I couldn't figure out why. I gave up after an hour or two and started fishing docks in Indian Creek some of which held fish last week. Not much happening there. I caught a couple of keepers and a few of shorts, but the interesting thing is I caught more dink bass than I caught crappies.

Oh, BTW did somebody mention the wind blew yesterday?

to bad the fish didnt cooperate but at least you got out . If your wanting to do some trolling, you might try Northwoods Wholesale Outlet Discount Fishing Gear Hunting Supplies ~ Michigan's Largest, Most Unique Dollar Store & Deep Discount Store for the Okuma reels.
I think that's about the cheapest you'll find them

Well you gave a good try. Were the crappie at the front of the dock or back in the stalls?
