    Default yesterdays catch

I put my Native Watercraft Ultimate 14.5 in the water yesterday and was back home 3 hours later with a great mess of fish. The bite was fast and furious. I landed over 100 crappies and gills, keeping 23 (thought I kept 25 limit). Plus managed to land a nice 18 inch smallmouth and a beautiful 23 inch walleye. All fish caught on my ultralight tackle using micro jigs and soft plastics.

Just plain old 1/64 oz jigs. No specific brand that I am aware of . I buy them from a bin at the local bait/tackle/beer/tobacco shop. Orange was the hot color yesterday.

Yup, forgot to mention how well the ole "Billbob" coozy kept my water cold. Had to maintain regular hydration while hauling in all those fish.

Nice catch. I'm waiting a few more weeks to go for my first limit of crappie out of a kayak.....water is still a bit warm here.
