Stockton treated me right today

Got up looked out the window and it was not raining so loaded up and headed to Stockton. Launched and it was calm I mean the water was flat it was so calm. Hit the spot and nothing not a tick , not even a little bass. Went to spot number 2 and there was a boat sitting there so on to number 3 and nothing again and this is looking bad so to number 4 and finally caught one and it was a good one. Now I am excited and caught 2 more before moving on. I hit spot after spot catching 0, 1, or 2 at each spot. Finally after fishing 6 hours and I don't remember how many spots I put number 15 in the live well. I used a drop shot rig with minnows and caught fish from 10 to 21 feet. Not a real pattern but I would catch my fish as soon as I pulled up and that was it no more. I think I hooked a total of 19 fish today, 3 dink's, 1 I lost at the boat and 15 keepers.

Looks like some good ones. Sounds like you had to work for them. Was a pretty day to be out for sure.

Glad you remember all those spots I showed you last weekend.....Nice mess of fish Tom...I would post mine but cant get them to look as good as yours...

Those are some dandy ones, some days are like that where you have to keep on moving when you are only picking up a couple at each spot. Congrats on the limit.

It looks like you just need to stay with it. We fished all day at Mark Twain, three of us in the boat and only had 4 or 5 in the boat. They were in 40 fow at 30-35 down. It was calm water also
