Wasn't A Good Nite, but Still Fun!

Hadnt been in a couple weeks so we hit the lake at 8:30PM and fished in what was my honeyhole. Looked like the white bass had taken over the hole since we caught 8 or 9 of 'em but we did manage to pick up a few crappie. Forgot the camera so I didnt take any pics but bait was all over the lights and all the way down to about 10' and the graph was showing fish in and undermeath the bait........just didnt seem to wanta bite very good. We quit at 10:30PM and headed back in since my son had to be at work this AM. We had 23 fish on the counters and it was just nice getting back on the water enjoying each other's company and the peace and quite and the nicer cooler air.

I have to agree it is nice to get out and spend time on the water, with friends and family. Catching fish is just a bonus...

some nights ya just don't catch as many as you want but the fishing is still great. That bright moon is pretty up there but it makes fishing tough.

My daughter "took me" fishing this morning for dads day. The bite wasnt great but she caught the first, the biggest and the most. Had a blast, couldnt of had a better present.
