You want a cheap charger thats just what you will get. Best advice i can give ya is, " you get what you pay for "................

Watch Cabelas or Bass pro. Their store brands are made by ProMariner. I have a proMariner and haven't had any problems. Dual pro makes one that won't brake you. They all will do the job. Mincotas are good but pricey. I have seen as many complaints about them going bad as any of the others.they do have a good warranty though. Get the largest output charger that you can afford no matter which one you chose to purchase.

Unhook the boat and plug them in and leave them plugged in until the next time you take the boat out be it one day or months. Don't guess these are cheap but they are great.

I have the min kota one and it stays plugged in when trailered. Don't skimp here, batteries are expensive and you want them to hold a charge.

I use a Brunton Solarflat 2 from Bass Pro Shops. It is only a 2 watt charger, but I have not drained my battery yet using a Minnkots 55 lb bow mount thrust. I keep the battery plugged into a battery tender when it is in the shed, and use the solar charger to keep the battery charged. The tender is from Wal-Mart ($20) and the solar charger was about $35.
