Competition was under extreme wind
conditions, from the South-southwest
from around 9am on. Winds running
from 9.5 - 12.8 mph & by mid afternoon
winds gusting to 18 - 19 mph.

11 brave entries took on the event, with
most if not all spider rigging entire tournament.
Most stayed near south end of LIttle Harris
because of wind. Three boats ventured into the
middle to north end of Little Harris. (all 3 were
"big O" boat design) which operate extremely well
in rough water.

catch weight" with a tie for second

1st & 2nd teams, spider rigged using Deep-South rods,
with Ron's Zip jigs & Skipper Jigs, minnow tipped
hot colors being - grey head, blue collar with mylar
tails.

2nd place tie team of John & Betty Payten used Wally
Marshall rods, spider rigged with Ron's Zip jigs, again grey
head, blue collar, also used "buttercup color Ron Zip with
orange Collar, mylar tail, minnow tipped.
8 - 9' foot water 6ft down.
