Fished with my neighbor today and did better than on Labor Day with my son. Stayed out quite a bit longer today. Had fun. Tried Twin Coves and Three-Fingers cove as well as points in between. Probably caught 15 or so fish but had to weed through some dinks today??Still had several keepers, largest went just over 13.
SLOW presentation. Had to dead stick it and then they might bite. 9-10fow all day. Didn't catch anything in the 6-8' range, nor anything deeper than 10'. Color didn't seem to matter. more about presentation and depth. Water temp at the surface was 75º. The further north you got, the dirtier the water was. I think that played into it some.
Should be interesting next Saturday at the tournament!
