Great morning fishing!!! Started off slow throwing topwater lures for wiper but no luck so we headed to my new crappie spot! My first fish was about a 5 pound buffalo, soon followed by a couple of small crappie! My brother from another mother Donny Anders is visiting from Oklahoma was next with a huge 15-16 inch crappie which he lost on top of the water... He made up for it later with 2 20 inch walleyes!!
The bites came early and often and we used up 3 dozen minnows and caught a bunch of crappie of various sizes and ended up cleaning 13 keeper crappie and the 2 walleye!!!
