Back to Bolivar landing

The wife was having a good day today. She ran a couple of errands and when she got home I just knew she would be wiped out, but she said "How about we go fishing right now" ... Well what's a man to do ?

Got down to Bolivar landing about 5:30 took out at dark. Brought home 7 nice eaters threw back two or three dinks and a couple of short bass. And also brought home a " green carp" ( keeper size Kentucky ) she caught and wanted to keep. The fish we caught were in 3 to 6 fow and down from about a foot to 5 foot by stickups, stumps and limbs near the bank. Tripple ripple blu-blk/chart and pumpkin/chart worked well and they hit with a pretty good thump. Water temp 81 degrees ...... never got out of sight of the ramp. Hoping to be posting a lot more of her on here with some slabs ....
