Good luck SKIP!
Been planning this for 3 to 4 weeks and even put some new willow in my spot a couple weeks back! We sure could use the rain for the lake, but seems it could have been a few days later.
I want to go bad, but may have to put it off a day or two now.
Dont so much mind a little rain, but the wind is probably not going to be low enough. Of course they keep moving its track projection West every day and if it gets much more West I know it's gonna kkeeps off the water Thursday for sure.
Good luck SKIP!
CRAPPIE fishing is not a sport, its a way of life!
Well all of a sudden it's looking like it may be done by Thursday evening and aas long as the wind leaves with it I should be good to go!
That storm has played havoc on lots of people's plans. My baby sister in New Iberia had to evacuate. By the way Skip, I like the card in your signature, looks really sharp and professional.
I only fish on days of the week that end with
a "Y" ...and then, only if it's raining or not.
Be safe my friend. We all know what happened 7 years ago with Katrina. Isaac is just a cat 1...but it has teeth and a ton of rain with it. You might have to go fishing next week. Be safe.

May God be with you. Keep CALM and STAY ANCHORED with your faith.
dandeman thanks, I just a month or so back had my cards made over and this is my new cards. I really think the guy I told what I wanted did a great job with this. There was a different fish in the original background, but then I told him I needed it to be a crappie plus I didn't like the jig he picked off my site and sent him pics of this one to use. It kind of looks like the crappie is about to eat the jig, LOL!
Thanks Ship, been through a lot of these storms over my life and just hoping this one moves on out of here, but in truth I also would love a lot of rain, but not sure we will hardly get any. That would be a shame, I mean if it gonna come anyway it sure could help out with a little rain as the lake could use a little more water now.
Skip, doesn't look like it's coming your way. It will be going over my house. I know what you mean about the wind on Toldeo Bend. It gets very rough.

Hope you don't get too much rain as this thing has a lot they say. T-Bend can handle a lot of rain, but most places will flood with that much rain so take care and good luck!
Now I just need it to not hang around and blow here much Thursday Night. I want a little wind, but just enough to keep the bugs at bay without having to light up the ThermaCell.
