    Default Clinton Saturday Evening

Went crappie fishing Saturday afternoon and caught a few small ones. Turned my attention to shallow points and the whites were stacked in 1 ft of water. Rattle traps and top water were the ticket. First time I have been out since late June as I made a trip to MN fishing for 2 weeks and the boat needed some repair which took a month. Crappie fishing in MN was great, limits of 12-14 inch fish. Clinton was really murky is that normal for this time of year?

How wet did you get? We are just a little east of Clinton and it poured most of the dat and all evening, probably why it was a bit murked up.

The funny thing it never rained on me. I headed to the marina once as the lightning got close but after a few minutes it passed so I went back out.

I meant we are west of Clinton, don't know where east came from? You are lucky, if I'd have been out there, it would have been "game over"" and my ol'tub would have been swamped! Glad ya got to get out!
