    Default August Slabs.....


    Slipped away last Wednesday and got to do a little fishing. Caught about 75-80 on the day and ended with 21 keepers. Only 4 of the keepers were between 12 and 13 and the rest were 13 or larger. The pic of the 5 are on top of a 48qt cooler. We only weighed one fish on the day and it was 2.64.

    Good pics of the crappie and nice catch, congrats. Were you tight lining minnows close to the bottom.

    We were slow trolling minnows about 8ft deep in 10-12ft of water.
