    Default Conservation pond


    Got home from work and Wyatt was at the door waiting to go fish. The conservation pond here in town sure is a fun spot for the kids. Went last night and tonight. Had a blast catching small perch one after another with a couple bonus crappie. He always seems to find the crappie.

    We're you just using jigs or did you have worms? It is a handy place to take the kids If you don't have much time.

    We were using worms. Kind of suprised me when he started catching crappie with live worms. That's something I have never used for crappie. Had a great time though.

    Sniffing out those Crappie where ever he goes .....and still sporting a big smile. Hope school doesn't cramp his fishing too much .....
