Default Anybody on the forum sell home cast jig heads?? Need prices.

Need to know what the going prices are for jig heads, have a guy needing to buy a couple hundred and said he would buy them from me, have no idea what to charge. The ones i make are 1/16 and 1/32 oz. with gold hooks, #2 / #4 size. I paint some and some is left un-painted. Would like prices on both painted, and non-painted if someone could help. Guess i can always go to wally mart and "compare" . Thanks and HAPPY TURKEY DAY !!!!!!!!!

Figure out what you have in materials - how much did your hooks cost, how much does your paint cost per head, how much lead did you use? Then figure a price for your time. Industry prices right now for those heads are about $.22-$.25 each. You have to make the decision if your work is worth more or less then that.

Default Lum, I will take a 100 of 'em at $25.00

Rather help you than Wally. Don't need any colors. If the fish want colors, they can visit my brush piles and have their pick. I have left plenty there for them. I think the trick is the action of the skirt and who is on the "yanking end" of the stick. PM me.

These prices are available on line to anyone. I won't go to the trouble to pour my own. I buy from one source all the time as one source's 1/16 my weigh more than another and in trolling I think weight is a critical factor in depth control.

Bentpole, I buy them from a guy who has a tackle shop at a small flea market. He usually gets 8 dollars a hundred, which is still great, but if I buy several hundred, he generally knocks off 2 dollars a hundred. He charges 4 dollars a hundred on tube jigs, but I can sometimes get them for 2 dollars a hundred. I think he sells rubber worms and lizards for like a dollar for 10.

I think the last one's i bought were $2.25 for 10 (painted) heads. The one's i make are nice though, gold hooks and double barbed !! Give me your address and when ya get em, tell everybody on the board what kind of job i do, let me know if ya want painted or non-painted. Thanks guys for the replies.
