    Default Tempress seats?

What is the best base. Mine feels like it is trying to dump me out of the seat. I would like for it to tilt back some.

make sure you have them on the base right !!!!! there should be a arrow on your base it should be pointing to the front of the seat !!!!!

So when you're fishing to one side or the other of the boat, you're now leaning left or right? No thanks! I have Tempress High Back seats and don't notice any leaning forward.

Perhaps your old seats were cheap, worn out and were allowing you to lean back further than original. It could also be that the seats you have are just bad, perhaps seconds? I love my tempress, best seat I've ever had.

I just bought 4 of the high back seats for my latest toy and must say these are the most comfortable boat seats I have ever been in. I have a very bad back and needed the support these seats offer. That support may be what's pushing you forward out of the seat. Try pushing your butt all the way back into the fold and this may solve the problem.

If you do wind up getting new pedestals, get the Springfields.
