    Put in at camp ramp again and holy cow the difference in 24 hrs . Did fairly well on sat and bit the bomb on sunday . Fish same areas with my wife and wound up with two stinking fish. The bait fish wasnt there the wind, sprinkels the only good part is my wife is better looking than me end of story.

    Same happened to me on Smithville. I checked the barometer when I got home & it explained it.

    I fished Stockton last evening and yesterday night and then Truman today and struggled big time.
    New goal 16" crappie by December 30

    Was out there yesterday too. I had the same luck as you, but the guy i took was out catching me 10 - 1. He had some dinky 4' poles and 4# test line. He'd drop 20ft of line 1/4 oz split shot with bare hook and a minnow. The tips of those poles would just tickle and pretty soon they'd come up or drop and he'd set the hook. Caught a bunch of little crappie 6 - 8" long. Took home only 10 keepers.

    Fish seemed to be concentrated over 24' of water down by aldrich.

    Looks like I'm going to invest in some dinky poles and put some light line on them.

    Sounds like quality time with your wife,regardless of the fish not not wanting to socialize.

    I really had a good time fishing with her. We dont get to go very much but i really enjoy listening and watching her catch fish. It would seem shouldve sent her with beagle hehe. That darn lake will treat you that way some times or it does me.
