    Default Jiggin' Canebeds

Debra and I had a good morning jiggin' brushpiles and canebeds. We kept 22 nice fish in about 3 1/2 hours of fishing. Hot colors were Pink/White and Pink/Chart. Midsouth Super Jigs tipped with Berkley Glow Crappie Nibbles.

Noticed shad at the 8 foot deep level over 16 feet water. We moved to a nearby cane condo that topped out at 9 to 10 feet deep. Caught nice slabs setting in the top of the cane ambushing shad as they came over.

Nice slabs--and thanks for technique info. Never crappie fished much in summer till last couple years, I still have room for about 99% improvement.
Bought a stick steer in 04--glad to see someone else with one---love to be able to set up like cockpit and not have to move to fish.
    Good luck

Man if you could just duplicate your success at night you would be onto somehthing.

Nice catch and thanks for the pics. I sure enjoy seeing them while I am stuck in this office.
