    Default first lake washington crappie


    went out to my "secret spot" today and got my first lake washington crappie. most of them were small with a couple going 10". they were in less then 4' of water and spawning. after the pic i released them all to continue spawning.

    I still have yet to get some out of washington. good job!!! seriously good job that is awsome.
    To land one of my crappie i need a gaff and a .22 pistal :D

    Nice fish CK! Looks like you caught a few that were worth talking about and taking pictures of Excellent that you released them to finish spawning too. Make more babies som aybe I can stumble on some

    the weird thing about these crappie was that i went to this place to take some pictures for a photography project and to maybe catch some perch and pumkinseeds. and i have been to this spot many times and have never got one before.

    Looks like a meal to me CK. You're a nice dude. They would have gotten a nice Criso bath if they would have landed in my boat :D. Just kidding. I let them go during the spawn as well. But during the late fall/early winter when they stack up big time on the drop offs at night....I fill the freezer up.

    Koke~ I cooked that salmon lastnight on the BBQ. Smoked out the whole block by using apple wood chips:D. Best fish I've had in years. Thanks man.

    Your welcome man anytime, this is the best time because it is last years stock so we are trying to get rid of some to fill up for this years...We can always make a trade....I don't know much about the big lake for bass or crappie.....
