    Default Trolling Motor Installation Help

have a friend that has a sea fox fiberglass boat and needs to mount a minn kota trolling motor on it. It does not have any access to the front of the boat. It has a suitable flat surface to mount it to but i need some help on ways to secure it to the boat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Knappy

I can't remember the name of them but someone on here posted a couple oof months ago about some blind spot toggle bolts available through HomeDepot or Lowes. 1/2 in hole then these are inserted with a plastic retainer. When mounting bolt is installed it releases the retainer and spreads out to lock in place.

Do a web search on Snap Toggle bolts. You want the SS ones. They work something good. For extra insurance I would put blue loctite on the bolts before you run the in.
