I wonder on what the criteria was based? Average size of fish? Numbers of fish? Numbers of large fish? It would be interesting to know.

    Really?

    36. Kinkaid Lake, IL
    37. Rend Lake, IL
    38. Shelbyville Lake, IL

I guess I can see Rend and maybe I'm a bit biased, but Mark Twain not even making Top 50 yet it's a part of the MO State Championship for CrappieMasters? Like Speck, I'd like to know what criteria was used.........but, I guess it somewhat stays off the radar?

The criteria was a few weeks ago when they asked what are everyone's favorite lakes. Don't believe there's much science or research involved, but i could be wrong.

Wow 21 lakes better than Truman. Guess I need to start putting some miles on the Expidition and seeing some new water. I see some good ones up at the top but also see some good ones way down the list. Kevin where did you find the list and did it give reasoning behind the order? I remember when Truman use to make the top 10 on every list for bass fishing but have not seen it in the top 50 for a long time. Some pretty good lakes in MO and Kansas that did not make the cut.

It’s my list, I made it up…….just kidding. I found it on Crappie Nation, not sure how they came up with the list?

Makes you start thinking about all the great crappie lakes that are out there, one of my all-time favorites is Millwood, Arkansas (I had 7 crappie in a tournament there that went 15.67, one pole, one jig, no winnows) and it’s not on the list?

Most are all south of here. Would be nice to have a few weeks to make a big swing down through Arkansas and then over to Sippi and hit several of these lakes.
