    Default Crappie and Bluegill in Wichita?


    I was wondering if any of you guys knew any decent places to catch some nice big gills and crappie in Wichita. I know there are a plethora of parks around here but most of them hold large numbers of small fish, and the biggest crappie I have seen with my own eyes so far has been about a 10" crappie out of Chisolm North. Thanks again guys!

    P.S. bit of a landlocked angler here, hence the bluegill questions.

    I would contact Jessica Mounts of KDWPT, she is the biologist for Wichita lakes and might be able to point you to the right lake.
