Any Crappies around Lake Erie?

Just wondering if anyone has caught any crappies this year around lake erie (Western Shore) and in some of it's tributaries. Haven't been able to find them this year! I heard they were around in January, but no one seems to be reporting them this spring.

I did ok in the very early spring. Caught some real big slabs. This was when everyone was still chasing walleyes in the river though. The cold we had late april into may screwed the fishing around here royally. I haven't been out lately.
