BTW, the shiners he carries are 2-3".
He'll be open at 4:30 with plenty of coffee.
I just got off of the phone with Jay's Midlake Bait & Tackle. He has a variety of bait and is willing to provide us with whatever we need. I know, myself, and many others are fans of shiners. He carries them, but generally about 5 bucks a dozen. He's willing to cut some deals if he has an idea of how many pounds he needs to have. He usually only buys 2 pounds at a time, and you know that won't go far. He should have plenty of medium crappie minnows, as well.
The order needs to placed by tomorrow afternoon. I don't want to tell this guy to order 10-15 lbs if he's going to get stuck with half of them.
Post here or PM me if you're interested in a half pound or pound, if I don't get much of a response I'll just make sure he keeps some with my name on em.
If you can get him down to $10-13 per pound, I'll get one each...
My dad and I would be in for a half pound.
This baitshop... Mapquest didn't find it, but I'm assuming since it's on "Old 101" and from looking at the satellite picture, it's the only baitshop on that road? Neither of us have been to Brookville in over 10 years so we're not familiar with this area at all.
