My new best bud.

well guys today my girlfriend suprised me with a rescue pup that is about 5 to 6 weeks old and its a lab and blood hound mix. Its been a long time since i had one of my dogs killed from a hunter who trespassed while i was squirrel hunting. He saved my life cause the man could have shot me. Im ready to train him and have me a new hunting buddy. I hope to get him a orange vest when he is full grown. Its been a day good enough to put tears in my eyes. Ill make sure to put pictures soon.

I cant wait to take him hunting and enjoy our years together.

I adopted a rescue dog yesterday, too. I don't think she'll be doing any hunting or fishing, though. . She's an older dog and is focused more on sleeping and cuddling.
