Default Bobby Garland – Monster Fest

I just got off the phone with the folks at Bobby Garland, and the Monster Fest will held on October 27th and 28th and Ft. Gibson Lake in Oklahoma once again this year. More details to follow.

There is some real nice blacks there,we fished it last year and seen some dandies(even caught a few)looking forward to going back. The lake has a little of everything.Found some coves with stumps, drops along the shoreline(ledges).we didn't fish the lower end of the lake but some of the other anglers did and caught good fish also.I highly recommend going to it plus taking a tour of the plant and see how they make those lures.Had a great time.

What Dave said, its a very cool lake. You can jig laydowns in the river or fish brushplies along the river channel. Whats so cool is, the black crappie average over a pound, thats amazing to me and I have gone down to fish this lake just for fun (I love catching those black crappie).

Plus: its the best pay back of any tournament I have ever fished, I think they paid back over 120%!
