    Default Si pics of fish... Type?


    I have scanned this spot several times and it is always loaded with fish. I have yet to catch anything here but there are some very large fish there. I think it might be catfish but I am not sure. It also could be some gar. Check them out:

    I've changed the welcome screen on my 1197 to say....

    Just because you can see 'em
    Doesn't mean you can catch 'em

    When I see that on mine at our lake (which a catfish is far and few between) you can get out the carp dough as that is what it is BIG carp or Buffalo.

    Got ya... I fish for crappie and stripers mainly... I know what they look like but these are way different. I scanned this same spot back in December one year and it was loaded with fish. That time, I saw a bunch of gar rolling but those pictures looked different from these also. I will see if I can find them and post them also.
