I thought 3G was some high speed stuff. You must be one fast welder. Ha

    Congratulations pal.

Congrats CJ, and to you also phantom. I didn't know we had so many certified welders here. I was certified in stick and mig on 3G, 4G, and 6G on pipe. I've also had to do a 6G with a blind spot, using a mirror to weld. The 6G cert was needed to weld up those nice big oilfield structures you see pictures of. I help set a bunch of them out in the Gulf in my time. Those were good days but I'm glad they're over. It's much more fun to sit at home and wait for fishing weather.

    10-4 Gene ! ! ! !
I certed bout all of em at one time or nother, but, never could boom out, ole lady pitches a hissy if I mention
    leaving town for big money.
I'm bout done now myself (65 yr old next Dec), got that early retirement going, so if I work, they hold back
a dollar of benefits for every two I make. Worked eight months recently, they say they're holding back 11 months of my
benefits, So, I might as well just hang it up and go fishin, etc, etc..... (till 66) LOL....

Josh, stay with it, it's not a bad trade at all. I've always enjoyed it.......................
