Default Pulled all the beads today (Smithville)

It was a beautiful morning on Smithville. I ran in to Short Story and Skeeter this morning. Nice to meet ya Short Story. I caught a nice limmit on Rippertail jigs. White/sparkle chartruece worked well. I fished stumps in 10-15 fow. If i could get the jig through the dinks to the bottom i would reel up a crank or two to catch the larger fish.
Good luck to all that are fishing the tourament Tomorrw. I am not fishing it but may be at the weigh in.

    Peace

It was a good time fishin with ya again, even if it was in different boats. That way you can see the boat airborn instead of feeling it!!! That beefy power head is nice. Fishing was the same for me 10-15' anything chartreuse. I've been fishing in a lot of unexplored water for me and seen to be finding fish in most areas lately. The wind picked up and made it a little tough, but all in all a great day!

Beautiful morning on the lake. Tried something different ... let the boat drift along the bluffs on the east side of the main lake from the 2nd cove above W all the way to Shady Hollow. Tightlined a minnow on my 10' Sam Heaton. Drift sock would have been helpful. Got 6-8 hard strikes but couldn't get a good hookset. Discovered a child-safe hook point. Wouldn't try this on a weekend as boat wakes really bounce off the rock bluffs and rock you. Ran into jiggin4abigun at the dock as we were leaving. He was still filleting his limit as I left.
