    I JUST BOUGHT A NEW PROP FOR A 9.9 JOHNSON 1996. 13 SPLINE . NOW THAT SAID IT'S MUCH LARGER IN DIAMETER THEN THE OLD PROP BUT IT DOES FIT.?? IT CALLS FOR A 9 1/2 X 10 WHICH IS WHAT IT IS. EITHER i REALLY GROUND DOWN MY OLD ONE ON THE ROCKS OR ?? ANY ANSWER IS A HELP

    Diameter affects the motor very little. It's the pitch that counts most.
