My wife Sandy (aka) Crappie 2 & I started to learn how to Crappie fish about a year ago. We have put in a lot of hours on the water. We have read everything we could about Crappie fishing. I have "studied" Crappie.Com and tried to remember all the "Gold Nuggets" on here from the many experienced Crappie Fisherman & Ladies. After all this time it is starting to pay off. We have been long lining Lindy Watsit Jigs in Purple/Chart. Black/Gold Flecks, as well as trolling the Crappie Cranke-R's. in the Tail Light color. Also using Lindys Split Melon & Hot Mess on 1/16 oz Jig Heads We have had to work to catch them. We have only scratched the surface, but it is starting to be fun. Thanks to all that have helped us along the way with tips & encouragement.Name: 2012-07-18 002.jpg

Good mess of fish for sure! It is satisfying once you learn how to catch them regularly.
