under partly cloudy to clear skies,
winds ranging from 5.8 at 8am to
11.5 by 2pm

catch weight"

2nd: Team Mike & Dustin Baker
7 lbs 12.0 oz

3rd: Team John Hill & Daughter Cheryl
7 lbs. 10.0 oz

4th: Team Darryl & Terri Cole
7 lbs. 8.0 oz

All four winners fish came from Lake Carleton
by "spider riggin" minnow tipped jigs, working
waters 4-6 ft deep early until sun came into play,
than they followed "shad" into deeper water
9 - 11 ft in depth.

First second & fourth place winners fished with
Deep-South rods and Ron's zip jigs. "hot pink" color,
along with Skipper Jigs, "buttercup" became excellent
color as day wore on.

Third place Hill team fished BnM rods with Hill's, "Hooker
Ice Jigs", various colors of: orange, blue & purple- glitter
in 10 - 12' ft.

Next tournament will be July 28th, Walk-in-Water, public ramp
off walk-in-water road east of Lake Wales, off highway 60.
7,532 acres of slightly stained water.
