good times! way to get the kids out and fishing. Thumbs Up
We got up to the lake a little later than we wanted to but still had a good time pulling cranks with the kids. We pulled off the water when we heard some thunder, with the kid's along no reason to take a silly chance with lighting. The bad part was the fish had really started to turn on, we ended up with ten alright fish and a lot of through backs that were between 9 @ 9 1/2 and smaller. All in all it was a fun day on the water with my son and a good friend and his son.
Saturday I had my son along and my cousin and his two kids out with us for a couple hours. With a two 5 year olds and a 3 year old we caught enough to keep the kids occupied before meltdowns started. That was another fun day that will never be forgotten any time soon.

Went out Friday morning about 6 and came in about 11:30. Only caught 7 keepers between us. Enough for my neighbor who is not doing well but loves it when I give him some crappie. We traded for a couple of 'mators. Had one that reached 13". Put in at South Fork and headed down towards Elk and the Middle. Caught most the fish along the tree lined opennings of the creeks (slough). Bigger fish seemed deeper. 10' of water. When I came home Sat it was good to see a lot of pontoons and swimmers out. I usually don't get to see many people enjoying the lake since I usually go up on Tues and come home on Thurs.
