    Default Glow sticks

For those who night fish. Instead of buying the more expensive glow sticks from the big box stores you might want to try E-Bay first. Bought 200 last year for 8 bucks shipping included. Alot better than buying 4 for a couple of bucks. Plus they have different size lenghts.

You use them for night fishing so you can see your rod tips.

I use them on the floats. You use a rubber band and place the stick on the top of the float, when the stick disappears fish on. There is a place in Ohio that has a great night bite. The causeway is loaded with night crappie fisherman and they all use latterns, it looks like a run way at the local airport. I use the sticks and throw out my slip bobber farther than most of the guys and get the fish coming in towards the lights. You can buy the setup all ready made up just trying to save some money.

See the post about "Night stalker in Ark."

Good Idea about Ebay! I'll check that out for sure...I've put them on my floats too. The floats ended up laying down like KCBH's weighted floats do, then when I got a git they would begin to stand up. Probelm I had was if you had a couple of them next to each other and they were laying at a different angle, they would kinda play with your eyes and look like one was standing up!

I have looked on e-bay before for the 4-6" white glow sticks but could not find them. I can get a good deal in 1½" ones for the rod tips.
