Three Lakes, One Week, One Trophy

Asked the family what they wanted to do for vacation this year and they all said the lake. I love my family.

We started at a friends place on Table Rock and had a great time, didn’t fish but did just about every other water sport.

Next Beaver Lake for the 4th and saw a great on the water display. Considered a striper trip but with the heat and boat traffic we passed.

Last stop Stockton for a little more R&R. We fished with my college buddy who guides on the lake. Neither one of my kids had ever caught a walleye until this trip. My son had three keepers and several shorts, my daughter only caught shorts and we also caught bass, catfish, keeper crappie and drum. It was a great trip. He even did his radio fishing report from the water and my son heard his voice on the air.

Oh yea and I caught this 8lb 3oz, 27 ¾ inch with 13 inch girth fish which we measured, weighed, photographed and released! Pictures don’t do it justice.
