    Just saw on the news there has been some group taking over some computers to make them go to the wrong sites. Let me make this short, the FBI didn't stop them or it would have made anyones computer that is infected stop accessing the internet so they made servers to take over the bad ones and Monday they will shut them down so if your computer is infected it will stop working Monday. The have a site to check your computer and tell you if it's infected and how to fix it if it is.

    So go to this site and follow directions. It's easy to check.

    This is a real issue, and it's a good link. I ran it on my IP this morning and luckily it found nothing. If you try it, use one of the other "english" ones. I could not get through on the first link (dns-ok.us
    )
    , that's the popular one I guess. But maybe it's working now.

    For the skeptics out there I found on one site, can't recall which one, suggesting that if in fact your computer was infected with this whatever DNS thing that there was a chance you would be directed to a bogus site which in turn would tell you your computer was not infected. I checked the DCWG.org site this afternoon on my wife's Kindle Fire and read through it and will probably be going to it on my laptop and see how it will check out.

    I just never have a good feeling whenever these software companies pop up on the computer saying you need to update to the latest version of their software.

    Here is the latest site I've visited on this issue. What oh what should one do -- just go for it and click away I guess?
