    Default Summertime Crappie on Caddo

    Howdy from East Texas!

I joined this forum a few months ago and have really enjoyed the time I've spent here while trying to become a serious crappie fisherman instead of a newbie. Do any of you guys fish Caddo Lake or Big Cypress Bayou in the summer, and if so what types of structure do you look for and what techniques work best for you?

I normally fish the Bayou for crappie and launch at the Highway 43 Bridge. I did well during the winter months and early spring but have only been able to find a few each trip since the weather got above 85 degrees. I've had very little success on the Lake except for in Alligator Bayou.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!!
    Respectfully,
    dan

I only fish on days of the week that end with
a "Y" ...and then, only if it's raining or not.

You will probably get better responses on the Texas and maybe Louisiana forums.

    Thanks TigerFanatic1!

    I'll try that.
